Yes, to the non photographer this title means nothing but to us it spells a photographic revolution! The new Canon EOS 5DS and 5DS R are now a reality. Yes you did read it right…thats 50.6 Megapixels in a Canon DSLR. Wow!!!
My other great passion in life is motorbikes. In the motorcycle world there is a well know phrase: “There’s no replacement for cubes!” Roughly speaking this means that the bigger the cubic capacity the faster the bike. If the 5DS was a motorcycle it would be a Moto GP bike in a world of Mopeds.
I have just put my name down for the 5DS R so watch this space for the first unbiased review you are likely to read. I have a feeling that it might be a big one. No definite delivery dates yet but I can’t wait.
